If you’re interested in being an emocapella member, (and you should be, since you’re reading this) then you’re in luck. Auditions are March 1st at 9:00 PM in the basement of the Academic Center (Rome/Phillips halls). You don’t need to show up both days, and it shouldn’t take more than about… 7 minutes.

Auditions are open to all male GW students, and the audition process is nearly painless. Just be prepared to preform a short solo (around 2 minutes maximum, preferably something that shows off your vocal abilities and general awesomeness) and sing a few scale patterns. We’re accepting all vocal parts and beatboxers at this time. No previous vocal experience necessary, and even if you can’t read music sheets or guitar tabs or whathaveyou, don’t worry about it. Or do worry, and show up emo.

Hey everyone if your are interested in auditioning for emocapella here is what you need to know:

Emocapella closed out the year strong with a great concert. Thanks to all those who came out. In case you couldn’t make it, here’s a sampling of what you missed.

Six a cappella groups – one battle.

Come out and witness the miracle of magnificence that is emocapella,  Friday, April 24th at 6.30pm in the Lisner Auditorium at the ultimate a cappella showdown (not that its a competition or anything).

**No ticket necessary, free admission**

emocapella and some other groups like Troubadours, Pitches, Sons of Pitch, Sirens, & The Vibes.
