Andrew hails from the Bass dynasty of Northern Ireland, a legacy of concert bass singers that dates back to the 15th century BC. Of course, his family had to move to the US in the late 19th century because the name Bass easily became confused with a similarly sounding Irish slang term which roughly translated means “the part of skin that is removed during a circumcision.” When not running from angry Irishmen with pitch-forks or staring in his own homo-erotic videos, Bass can be found carrying on the family tradition by hitting the low notes in emocapella, both literally and figuratively. Despite his girly gestures, he still insists he’s not gay.
