Daniel Reade
Dan first stumbled upon the emo genre at the age of 15 upon the realization that his late-night needs were being satisfied more by Burger King’s dollar menu than by any female. As his life progressed and this problem stopped occurring, he started listening to upbeat rock and ska music. After missing the old days of crying, despair, and anger at the world, he once again began taking solace in slow Ben Folds songs and the hateful lyrics of Max Bemis. He now sabotages anything that goes good for him so that he may have an excuse to be emo. In fact, Dan is so content being emo, that he often appears very happy in public. Don’t let the smiles fool you! Despite the facts that his voice is comparable to a mix between Fergie and Jesus and has been called the “voice of his generation”, he’s sadder than a hipster without a scarf.
