Mike has drums in his mouth…no, mike is not a drummer, but he does sing vocal percussion in emocapella. He acquired the beat by laying beatbox for rap ciphers in inner city Philadelphia during his year with Americorps. Besides keeping the beat, Mike also enjoys playing his guitar for the ladies, philosophy, surfing (yes, east coast), and dancing around in his underwear to loud rock music like Tom Cruise in Risky Business…When Mike turns 21 he plans on enjoying beer as well. His love for A Cappella got Mike through senior year of highschool and he is hoping that it will help him get through college too. If you see Mike around and you feel like freestyling…ask him to lay a beat.
