Samuel Fishman is the man, the myth, and the legend. He came to GWU unsure of which path he would take. Would it be Emocappella, or not? And why would he join in the first place? The only thing Sam had to go by was his one talent that kids used to poke fun at him for having. The beatboxing skills. So, there he was at the auditions with nothing to lose.

Ever since the audition, Sam has been known as “The Beat” and is ready to challenge anyone to a “beat off,” even the guys from “Sons of Pitch.” Sam has been playing the drums for quite some time and enjoys every chance he gets to lay down the grove. He has made many friends at Emocappella and hopes that this journey through music will provide him with ultimate bliss and purification of the mind. Yes, he is Samuel J. Fishman, the man, the myth, the legend, and he sits to the right of this amazing story.
