Join us for Emocapella’s first concert of the year!  Meet the new guys, haze them, whatever.  It’s Colonials Weekend, so bring the folks.  Oh yeah.  It’s hosted by the Troubs and all the other acappella groups will be there if you didn’t already get that.

Where:    Betts Theatre, MC 1st Floor

Emocapella stole the show during the acappella overloaded parent’s weekend performance. The first show sold out so early that we had a second later that night. Oh yeah, and we raised money for some charity, with pic to prove it happened.

The New Kiddies

We are proud to announce that several poor souls showed up for auditions the other week, thus ensuring that emocapella will be around for at least another year. Congratulations to our newest members, Julian, Adam, Matt, Michael, & Ryan. This class has been unanimously branded as our most emo yet. You can find out just how emo they are in our members section.

Want to be part of the Emo magic? Here’s your chance. Auditions are this Tuesday and Wednesday, September 12th and 13th at 8:00 PM outside room B120. That’s in the basement of the Academic Center (Rome/Phillips halls). You don’t need to show up both days, and it shouldn’t take more then about five minutes. Auditions are open to all male GW students, so if you fit the requirements and can sing, beatbox, or are just really emo then come try out!

On a related note, we’ve gotten a bunch of questions from girls wanting to try out so here’s the thing - you can come try out if you reeeally want to… but we can’t let you in the group. Sorry it would totally ruin the whole emo thing, you know? But lets still be friends, ok?
