Come out to Mitchell theater at 7:00 on Dec 1st for the 39th annual Emocapella really fricken huge fall show. We’ll be singing old songs, new songs, introducing the new members, and showing a new video, among other antics which can’t be explained here.  Check out our facebook event too.

Want to be part of the Emo magic? Here’s your chance. Auditions are September 10th and 11th at 8:00 PM outside room B120. That’s in the basement of the Academic Center (Rome/Phillips halls). You don’t need to show up both days, and it shouldn’t take more then about five minutes. Auditions are open to all male GW students, so if you fit the requirements and can sing, beatbox, or are just really emo then come try out!

On a related note, we’ve gotten a bunch of questions from girls wanting to try out so here’s the thing – you can come try out if you reeeally want to… but we can’t let you in the group. Sorry it would totally ruin the whole emo thing, you know? But lets still be friends, ok?

THIS THURSDAY, MAY 3rd – prepare to have your face rocked off as we present our Big Spring Show (like the Big Fall Show, only spring, you know.) We’ll be doing all of your favorite emocapella songs including 3 new songs, and we’ll also be showing a new video . Come find out why we won best performance at this years battle of the acappella groups.
