It is that time of year again. We are excited to introduce you to all the new members of our group! This is our first Co-ed concert and we would love for you all to come and hear us sing! Our concert will be in Mitchell Hall Theater (next to 7/11) on Saturday December 11th at 9 pm. We are also happy to introduce our new T-shirts at that concert, so get excited to see what we have to offer.

Auditions will be held next Tuesday, September 7th between 8-10 pm in Phillips hall in the basement. We are very excited to announce that emocapella is now officially a co-ed group and would love for girls to come out and audition as well as guys!

If you’re interested in being an emocapella member, (and you should be, since you’re reading this) then you’re in luck. Auditions are March 1st at 9:00 PM in the basement of the Academic Center (Rome/Phillips halls). You don’t need to show up both days, and it shouldn’t take more than about… 7 minutes.

Auditions are open to all male GW students, and the audition process is nearly painless. Just be prepared to preform a short solo (around 2 minutes maximum, preferably something that shows off your vocal abilities and general awesomeness) and sing a few scale patterns. We’re accepting all vocal parts and beatboxers at this time. No previous vocal experience necessary, and even if you can’t read music sheets or guitar tabs or whathaveyou, don’t worry about it. Or do worry, and show up emo.
